In this spirit, the Kenya Air Force today marked the successful completion of Junior Leadership Course No. 124/26 during a colourful Closing Ceremony presided over by Brigadier Stephen Kapkory, Base Commander Embakasi Air Base, at the Kenya Air Force Training Wing Headquarters. The course was designed to enhance leadership competencies, strengthen decision-making abilities, and cultivate the values of discipline, teamwork, and responsibility among participants. Throughout the training, students underwent a rigorous programme aimed at preparing them for greater leadership roles within the Service. The ceremony featured a series of impressive demonstrations that showcased the participants’ newly acquired skills and professionalism. These included precision squad drills, rifle movements, coordinated formations, and a well-executed march past in both slow and quick time, reflecting the high standards of training attained during the course. Addressing the graduates, Brigadier Kapkory congratulated them on successfully completing the course and challenged them to apply the leadership principles acquired during training in their respective units. “Leadership is not defined by rank alone, but by example, responsibility, and service to others. I urge you to uphold the values learned during this course and contribute positively towards the operational effectiveness of the Kenya Air Force,” said Brigadier Kapkory. The Base Commander further emphasized the importance of continuous self-development, professionalism, and commitment to duty as key pillars in building a capable and resilient force.
