Photo Kazuu Visuals A plane operating on the Mandera-Nairobi route lost control and crashed into a nearby thicket at the Mandera Airstrip runway on Friday morning, causing alarm among passengers and the plane crew. Following the crash, preliminary reports indicate that all passengers and crew on board the plane were safely evacuated. Emergency response teams stationed at the airstrip quickly moved in to retrieve the passengers who had been trapped inside the wreckage before securing the scene. Further reports revealed that the aircraft veered off the runway moments after landing at the Mandera Airstrip in Mandera County from Nairobi. While the exact cause of the loss of control has not yet been established, investigations have since been launched to determine whether mechanical failure or weather conditions could have contributed to the incident.
